1. Short title, extent and commencement:
(1) This Act may be called as the  “Mother’s Milk Substitutes (Control of Sale and Distribution) Act, 2049 (1992).”
(2) This Act shall come into force on such date as Government of Nepal may, by a notification in the Nepal Gazette, appoint.
